Pemberton Heights overlooks the harbour of North Vancouver. It was originally developed in the 1930s and the properties in Pemberton Heights offer large lots and great views of the Burrard Inlet and beyond to the city of Vancouver. Being of low elevation, properties in Pemberton Heights have views which show the profile of the buildings of downtown Vancouver in contrast to the `birds-eye` views of the Burrard Inlet and downtown buildings of higher up areas such as Upper Delbrook. Pemberton Heights combines expensive luxurious homes which have amazing views to lower-priced low-rise apartments with little to no views. There is one elementary school in the area and one in nearby Capilano Highlands.
