Indian Arm is a steep sided glacial fjord formed during the ice age. It is only accessible by float plane or by boat. It has a small population, mainly cottages and there are some permanent residents who do live there in the southwest area of Indian Arm at Woodlands. The slopes along the Indian arm are either very forested or are steep granite cliffs. The mountains rise steeply directly from the sea with waterfalls, the largest being Granite Falls at the north end and Spray of Pearls Falls at Wigwam Creek. In the winter frozen ice-falls can be viewed. Indian Arm Provincial Park is nearly 7000 hectares in total. The park is popular with boaters, kayakers and campers. Real estate rarely comes up for sale as there have been only 18 sales since the year 2000.
