DELBROOK REAL ESTATE
Delbrook was built in the 1950s through to the 1960s. Originally Delbrook was named because of avenue that runs through the middle of it. It is now a very desirable part of North Vancouver with many houses built in the ‘Post and Beam’ style. ‘Post and Beam’ style homes show off the height of the roof and expose the beams supporting it. Delbrook is known for having many properties that have fantastic views of the Burrard Inlet and Downtown. It has been known that neighbourhood disputes have occurred due to the growth of trees in neighbouring lots obscuring this amazing view for some residents. There is one elementary school in the neighbourhood (Braemar Elementary) and one Junior High School (Balmoral Junior Secondary). Delbrook is a well developed and quiet family area. The lots of the original homes built there offer a large amount of space for the whole family. Untypically for North Vancouver, Delbrook hosts a mix of residential and commercial apartments in Delbrook Plaza.
